In response to recent events at several community pools outside the Leacroft community and around the Charlotte area, we will be more strictly enforcing the use of a key fob to access the Leacroft Community Pool.  Beginning Friday, 6/28/19, pool staff will be instructed to not permit patrons to enter the pool area if they do not have a valid key fob to open the pool house gate.  While this has always been our policy, it has not always been followed (for complete pool policies, visit: http://leacroft.org/pool/).

It will be important to remember your key fob as you head to the pool.  If you’re already at the pool and one of your guests / family members directly associated with your party arrives, it will be your responsibility to let them in.  If you or any of your party needs to use the restroom while at the pool, you will need to take your fob with you so you can re-enter.  POOL STAFF WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE GATE FOR YOU.

The HOA Board is looking into the possibility of relocating the fob reader to the exterior pool house door for NEXT pool season, which will allow easier access to restrooms.  Until then, a key fob will be needed to re-enter the pool after using the restroom.  If you would like to receive an additional key fob for your family, please contact Henderson Properties at: 704-535-1122.  The cost for an additional fob is $20.00.

Upon entering the pool area, you will also be asked to sign-in using the sign-in sheet inside the pool house gate (after you use your key fob to enter).

Pool and Association staff will also be performing random fob screenings at various times throughout the remainder of the season.  If abuse of pool privileges is identified or if anyone is caught letting unauthorized persons into the pool area, pool privileges of that member will be revoked for the remainder of the season.

We want ALL Leacroft community members to have a fun and positive experience at the pool.  However, the safety and security of our community will ALWAYS be our primary focus.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Thanks,

Doug Lape
