Beginning 4/1/24, Villages of Leacroft welcomes FirstService Residential as our new property management company. Below, are a few things our residents need to know during the transition:

  • New Contact Information – FirstService Residential (FSR) is a nationwide property management company with a local branch right here in Charlotte. Contact information for our association is as follows:
  • New Online Resident Portal – FirstService Residential uses the “Connect Resident” portal to manage resident accounts. To access your new Connect Resident account, follow the steps below:
    • Access the portal by clicking on this link: https://villagesofleacroft.connectresident.com/
    • Click on “Create Account”
    • Enter your information to create the account. The system will email you a confirmation number which you’ll need to complete the login setup.
    • Once your login setup is complete, you’ll need to link your FSR account with your login. This account # can be found in the initial welcome email you should’ve received from FSR on 3/29/24. If you did not receive this email, you can call or email FSR using the contact information above to request your account number.
    • Once you link your account to your login, you should be all set up!
    • If you need assistance accessing the portal, check-out the online video tutorials below or contact FSR using the contact information above.
  • Architectural Review Committee (ARC) Request Process – the HOA board is currently working through details with FSR on the ARC request process and should have it finalized by the end of April. If you’re ready to submit a project, we’d ask that you wait until the end of April if possible for us to get fully set up. If it is a project that requires immediate attention (ex: damaged roof replacement), please contact FSR directly and they can assist with walking you through a temporary process to get you going.
  • Account Balances / Payments – If you had an account balance with our former property management company, those will be transferred over to your new FSR account, but may take a few days after 4/1 to transfer over. Please check your account through the online portal routinely and be patient as this process takes place. We’ll gladly work with our residents who need to make payments without incurring late fees (or additional late fees) through the transition period. If you identify any account discrepancies, please contact FSR to inform them and they’ll work to resolve.
  • Pool Fob Access – If you need to request a fob for pool access, please contact FSR and they can further assist.

While the HOA board and the FSR team have been working diligently to ensure a smooth transition, a complicated process such as this will no doubt have a few bumps in the road. The HOA appreciates the patience of all of our residents as we make this transition. We are very excited about our future with FSR and are confident all this work will lead to a much smoother operation for everyone.
